Life at MBA @ RNSIT

Gestione is a national level management and cultural fest organized by the students of MBA and Research Centre, RNS Institute of Technology. Gestione is being celebrated annually for the past 11 years and around 5000 students participate in this extravaganza every year. Numbers of events are conducted such as Business Quiz, Best Manager, Marketing, HR, Finance, Cultural and Sports.


Students are exposed to educational/motivational movies through a unique program called Show-time. Globally appreciated movies are screened on Saturdays to impart managerial skills.

Industrial Visit:

In order to provide practical exposure, students are taken to industry every semester. Students will get an opportunity to visit the industry based on their area of specialisation. Prominent industries visited are Toyota Kirloskar Motors Limited, TVS Motors, Volvo India, Taegutech India Private Limited and Hindustan Coca-cola beverages limited to name few.

Working on Projects during semester end gives the students an understanding of how theoretical concepts can be applied to a relevant social/corporate problem. With this as the backdrop, the Department of MBA has mandated “ Mini-Project ” at the end of the second semester where students in groups of 3 each carry out a project that addresses a corporate / social problem.

Soft skill development/ Placement Training:

In today’s world, getting acquainted with skills like managerial and interpersonal are the cornerstones of an effective and efficient MBA graduates. To meet the requirement  increasing demand of the corporate, the Department of MBA has materialized Skill Development Activity as a regular feature so as to enable students advance in their skills. Our students are also imparted with 80 hours full-fledged Training on areas such as soft Skills, Aptitude, Group Discussion, Interview Skills etc. Activities such as Individual & Group Presentations, Debates,  Business Quiz, Personality Tests, Etiquette, Image building & Corporate grooming – to name a few are arranged on a continuous basis.

Institutional Social responsibility:
Students actively involved in Institutional social responsibility activities. Contributions to orphanage, providing wheel chairs for physically challenged, planting sapling and organising blood donation camps are few social responsibility activities.

Rotaract club of RNSIT:
This club is sponsored by Rotary Bangalore South East, R.I.D -3190. Department provided opportunity for students to interact with other Rotary club members, various socio-cultural activities are organised by club.
