Our research community addresses a variety of relevant problems that offer counter –intuitive insights that challenge established viewpoints. Faculty members undertake research on a wide range of areas and these research endeavours are funded by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India and other funding bodies. RNSIT – MBA Department has grown in strength and today has around 18 highly qualified faculty. The institute is committed to provide a conducive environment for faculty to pursue their research interests. Institute internal performance management system for faculty places strong emphasis on research and publications. The department actively looks for opportunities to organise high quality conferences, workshops and faculty development programmes. In previous years, RNSIT – MBA organised two international conferences ICRBIT – 2015 and ICRBIT – 2019.
The Research centre of the Department of MBA was started in the year 2011. It comprises a full time and part-time doctoral programme that offers scholars opportunities for advanced studies and research in different specialisations related to Management Studies. The Programme aims to prepare scholars for careers in teaching and research in management studies and in related disciplines that require advanced analytical and research capabilities.
The Doctoral Programme in Management includes the following – specialisations: Finance , Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, , Organisational Behaviour, and Strategic Management etc. On successful completion of the Programme, a student is awarded the Ph.D degree, in his/her area of specialisation.

Dr. U Bhojanna is a 21-year proficient educator with a variety of experience and expertise. He
heads the department of management and Research and has been doing so for the past 18 years. He has
a master's in business administration from S K University, Anantapur, Andra Pradesh. He was awarded
master's in Philasophy from Alagappa University, Tamilnadu and Doctor of Philosophy from S K
University, Ananthapur, Andra Pradesh. He serves as a member on the Board of Examination for several
Universities and few autonomous institutions.
With an impeccable career in Research spanning over two decades, Dr U Bhojanna is a well known
researcher in the filed of Management & Social Sciences and has produced 7 Doctorates till date and
is currently guiding 6 research scholars in Universities of academic repute. He has to his credit
several publications in well known international and national journals. Dr Bhojanna serves as an
expert in several doctoral committees. His research projects in areas of societal development have
secured funding from the Government of India. He delivers expert lectures on research methodology in
various Organisations.
